Meet the Team
The first seeds of my passion for sustainability were planted several years ago. I’ve always had an interest in natural health, and so I studied Nutrition which helped nurture my vision of a healthy, holistic way of life.
When I learned about the Zero Waste movement, I immediately knew I had to make further changes to the way I’d been living. For a few years I shared with a small audience on Youtube. I was aware that most social media accounts I came across were focused on the devastating impact that our waste is having on the planet – an important goal, but something that can also reinforce the feeling of powerlessness that many people have when it comes to the environment. I wanted to create a platform that provided education and awareness on all the things we COULD do in our everyday lives - a community built around gathering practical information for day-to-day life, not just pretty pictures. And that's why Waste Free Planet was launched.
In just a few months my following on Instagram grow to over 100,000 followers. My next goal was to launch the Waste Free Planet Magazine in 2019 as a great way to further inspire and educate people about the many practical changes we can all make in our day to day lives.
